Afforest is a EU 5th framework project in which 5 partners develop a Spatial Decision Support System for 'Afforestation of former agricultural areas in Europe'. This DSS is based on a metamodel and a European database of location specific characteristics. Carthago Consultancy is responsible for integrating detailed process models in the metamodel and for integrating the metamodel in the DSS
